Using only the very finest materials, the Chalet is designed and furnished with handcrafted wood panels, bespoke fabrics, natural stone and antique Alpine and contemporary furnishings. Each individually designed room speaks of the utmost quality and comfort.
L’Arole offers guests spacious luxury in each of its 9 double bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. A number of the bathrooms have baths as well as separate showers.
Two of the bedroom suites also benefit from having dressing rooms. These two suites have Emperor beds.
The majority of the bedrooms have direct access on to one of the two balconies. Each room’s ambience is relaxed and chic with a range of warm colours and a selection of rich, sensual materials.
Hand honed and carved wood was used extensively in the Chalet’s original construction. These wonderful original features have been sympathetically preserved during its renovation. Dedicated craftsmen have spent many months using traditional woodworking methods to strip back layers of paint to reveal the original detail and beauty of the Arole wood. The artisans hand-waxed and polished wood panels with beeswax. A stunning glass and oak staircase opens up the centre of the Chalet. It represents the peaceful coexistence of refurbished original woodwork teamed with modern materials.
L’Arole has plenty of room to allow every guest a relaxing, luxurious experience. Groups or individuals are welcome to explore the wood-panelled Sitting and Drawing rooms, Library and formal Dining room that seats 24. The Library is stocked with a selection of English, French and German books.

The large family kitchen has features any cook would dream of using with ample workspace and an informal dining table. Multiple appliances including a Liebherr refrigerator, an Aga and Miele induction hob, oven and dishwasher redefines cooking today. There is a secondary kitchen on level one for easy access to the lower Terrace and garden, which includes a Miele Nespresso coffee machine.
